Vegetables, Steak and Chocolate Ice Cream.

what I did last night:
  • ate the largest salad of all time
  • took a long, hot shower
  • devoured massive amounts of chocolate ice-cream
  • dance party in my room to hip-hop
  • prayed
  • made my parents run every little errand with me
  • packed a bag full of children's vitamins, used running shoes, chocolate chips and pink nail polish (all requested by the orphanage)

overall, i am feeling EXCITED! i am ready to get this show on the road! Heaven knows there has been times of fear and uncertainty- but at this point i am trusting Him and ready.

Next post will be from Haiti!

i travel in style.

  2. AWESOME Kaitlyn! I am so happy for you! I read a few of your blogs but did not see which organization you ended up going with...what is their name? I am sure it in the perfect match :)!!

It has taken me a while to get my feet on the ground because of a housing and job situation which completely changed once I move out here...a challenge but one that I am happy to take on!

I redesigned the web page and am in the process of cleaning it up and creating more of a theme to it. Then once my feet are on the ground (we have a new house and a job is coming soon)I will be ready to start running with other more intensive research and conceptualization of the structure and functions of United Causes!

Looking forward to hearing from Haiti!! Much love to you!

  3. Now, I will pray a hand of blessing on your bags. It's always nice when those make it to your destination with you! : )
